Is the market facing quality?

While the little entrepreneur must struggle between quality and price, big surfaces and online megastores are able to offer poor quality products, that usually don't meet our expectations and needs. Are we equally demanding with them?
The local business is always the weaker soldier, and it is fighting in the same war than the big ones. When you make a deal with your neighbor you see his face, he is responsible for the product he is offering. But if you buy and fail in a megastore, you'll just meet an employee that will fill a form for you. Quality and price is a tricky combination, if you buy the cheapest one, you know that it is rubbish. What's the point in spending less if you will need a replacement in some months?
When you compare products look at the whole scenario. There is a line between a bargain and a bad purchase. Do not cross it.
Quality of materials, name of providers, guarantee and post-sales service: you don't see them in a picture, but you do need them!
